Complete Change

Since my last post, I have decided that my view on global warming has completely changed. It is a very sad thing that certain animals might become extinct during this epidemic. However, why do we have to make such a huge effort to save something whose time might just be up? If you look at the history of our world there have been many different animals or organisms that have lived and then become extinct. To me it is just the natural progression of life. I know that not everyone wants to hear this and wishes that we could always save everything, but sometime we try to hard to become god by either trying to recreate life artificially or finding a way to save something whose time might be up. In my earlier post I was also very tied to the fact that this is a man made occurrence. The more I read the more I start to realize that global warming is just a phase our world is going through. Not all of it is caused by what we have done. Granted I think we have an impact, but just a minor one. Media puts too much of a hype on this and tries to make everyone think what they want by saying it is all our fault and we are the reason why the world is warming. I have a crazy theory that this panic about if we do not go green our earth will suffer is something created by some elitist group that is making money off of everything that is being sold related to this.

Here is a link to a video on you tube of one persons view that humans are not the reason for global warming.

  1. Well i see what your saying about having to face reality about some animals dying. but what makes you so sure that through the progression of global Warming, that we won't make that extinction list? Many animals that influence major ecosystems are becoming extinct. Animals that regulate the acidity in our oceans. Animals like frogs that help us determine if the air we breath is healthy and not so toxic that it could kill us. Animals that identify diseases. Creatures that our at the top of their food chains like polar bears, and prevent animals from overpopulating and provide food for weaker creatures like the artic fox.Animals like algea and plankton that our linked to the entire ocean water food chain.these animals are extremely important in the balance for our ecosystem. If the global temperture rises to fast animals might not be able to create adaptions fast enough for survival. there might not be any animals left to evolve.

  2. I am not saying that we would not have the possibility of being on that list. Nothing lasts forever. One day in the future we will probably become extinct and something else will evolve and become the dominant specie on our earth. That is life in general. Thousands of years ago dinosaurs dominated the earth then through evolution and changes in the enviornment we the homo sapiens took over as the top of the food chain. One day whether it is in the near future or the far far off future i do see it as a possibility that we will eventually die off and become extinct. As related to the temperature rising too fast. It has been shown that increases in CO2 and temperature actually create and promote life more than if we were in an ice age.
